Most of this story really did happen. To this day, it's the strangest thing I have ever witnessed on public transportation.
lyrics
One day, I was taking a bus out of Malden Square,
And I couldn't help notice a man standing across from me,
Wearing a t-shirt, sunglasses and jogging pants,
Singing softly to himself,
While eating from a ziplock bag full of gummy worms.
One by one, he'd hold each gummy worm over his head
Pull it down to his mouth, and eat it
Much like, I'd imagine
One would go about eating actual, live worms.
Sitting behind him, there was a man in a business suit
Who, understandably, was giving him a strange look.
So The Worm Man, as I suppose we shall call him,
Well, he turned to the business man,
and I'll never forget what he said:
"If you're feeling froggy, leap. I haven't used this big long knife in a long time, and I don't want to have to"
At that point, I got off the bus...
That evening, I turned on the news
And there was a report of a dead body found in the square.
The victim was said to be wearing a business suit
He had a knife in his back
And he was covered in gummy worms.
I should point out, by the way
That this story is completely true.
Except for the part about the stabbing,
And the corpse covered with gummy worms.
